My mom celebrated her 60th birthday last night. Hard to believe considering she could probably pass for a woman in her 40’s (hopefully she passed the good genes down to me)! My sister, sis-in-law and I have been hard at work for about a month planning a party for her. She knew we were having a party, but that's all she knew. We kept all of the planning details secret so she could be surprised when she saw everything set up. There were about 100 people invited, and I’d say most of them came! We were so organized in our planning and I enjoyed it so much! So…event planning here I come! Just kidding, as much as I would love to do it, it might be a little more stress than I want to deal with. I love how everything turned out though and my mom had the time of her life visiting with old friends. Here are some pictures, however I think it was even prettier in person:

Looks like a lot of fun! You girls did such a great job planning and executing. It's a lot of work! Your mom does not even look close to 60... how fun for her to get a chance to see all her old friends.
