Here is the little dessert buffet we served at his party. I made the cupcake tower and then made cupcakes and chocolate happy birthday suckers to go in each, cream cheese frosting, chocolate covered pretzel sticks and also made Stockton his own giant cupcake to dig into! I think it's more baking than I've done in my entire life and definitely the most my hand mixer has been used since we got it for our wedding! We also served flavored popcorn, ice cream and punch. It was lots of fun and I wanted to make it special.

I also made this banner with one pic from each of his first 12 months

He got very spoiled by all our family! I was also very excited to get new books and toys since I was getting a little sick of reading and playing with the same ones! :o)

It definitely took a while to get warmed up to the idea of digging into his own cake but he finally did!
Wow, that's for me?
Hmm, what is this thing?!
Yay for cake!

We had to toss him in the sink while everyone was still there because he was covered in cake! He loved his new glowing duckies!
